Accessed from Standing Data >> Absence Types
Absence types provide consistency in the recording of absences of employees. By specifying types of absence into fixed items analysis can then be made of employee absence.
Select Add New to create another Absence Type record;
Description
This is the description of the Absence Type (e.g. Holiday or Annual Leave). This field is free text.
Holiday
This should be checked if the absence type is a holiday or booked annual leave.
Authorised
This should be checked if the absence type is authorised. For instance, a holiday or training is usually an authorised absence.
Sickness
This should be checked if the absence type is due to sickness.
